update November 4, 2024; What a terrific get together!
It's with both sadness and gratitude that we share Christy's resignation in October as Director and Treasurer. We'll miss her dedication but wish her only the very best! Thank you for everything Christy! 10/18/24
Thank you Brian Urban, for restoring that broken light at the park!
This morning, Wednesday, August 7, 2024, the claw truck arrived early to continue collecting storm debris (tree trunks, limbs, leaves, etc.).
Additionally, our trash service made a special trip to pick up clear and black bags of storm debris.
The claw trucks plan to return within three weeks to collect construction debris (including fence parts, concrete posts, etc.) and any new piles of storm debris.
update August 26, 2024; Today is the last day for Hurricane Beryl related debris special pickup.
You may have noticed some floating fish along the waterline at our pond.
A lot of fish were 'belly-up' in the pond on the Saturday after Beryl. They were washed into the lake by the high water levels from the storm, trapped in the pond when the water receded, and then they ran out of food.
We see this sometimes after a big storm.
A little over a week later, wildlife has removed the vast majority of them, but there are still some fish out there waiting to be dinner for the birds and other critters that live in and around our pond.
Nature is taking care of this as fast as she can, so in the mean time please use caution around the pond.
If you would like additional information, please message the Board.
update July 26, 2024; all the floaters are gone.
Sadly, one of our favorite park trees, the one next to the playground, is showing clear signs of distress.
The HOA contacted an arborist about it, and unfortunately, we can't save it. And since it's starting to drop limbs, the Board wants to remove it for safety reasons.
If you would like additional information, please message the Board.
update July 20, 2024; this tree was removed.
